Sweet Selection

Details

This wonderful sweet selection is an interesting mix. We have Junmai Daiginjo, Kijoshu, and a mizumoto(futsu-shu) that's amazing. As mentioned these are for the drinkers that like it sweet, silky and smooth!

1: KUROMATSU SENJO Junmai Daiginjo Prototype (720ml)

This sake is named “Prototype,” because the brewery continues to challenge themselves to new things. It also has the meaning of going back to the beginnings; thinking back to the origins of sake brewing. It has lovely and fresh fruits and floral aroma, and combinations of sound acidity with sweetness.

2: EMISHIKI Monsoon (720ml)

Luxurious sweetness and vivid flavor! This sake, inspired by German noble rot wines, has made Emishiki Brewery popular. Normally, when making sake, water is used in three parts. Using “sake” instead of water at the last phase is the sake called 'Kijo-shu'. This leaves a lot of sugar that would otherwise be broken down by yeast and produces sweet and rich sake like a high-end sweet wine. Please enjoy it with desserts as a digestif.

3: HANATOMOE Mizumoto x Mizumoto(720ml)

Intense nose of mushroom, hard cheese, malt, and fruity characteristics of grapes and cherries, honey, and lemon. Almost like an ice-wine, this is a real treat!

This sake has a medium sweetness balanced by a high level of acidity.  The sake has lots of umami and fruit flavors on the palate and is quite full-bodied.  The finish is long with a slight sour note at the end.
